Calaway & Brooks leases a 1,600 square foot building in Arcadia, CA. Fully air conditioned, with separate office and manufacturing areas, the building affords liberal room for large projects and future expansion. A full complement of modern, top quality test equipment is maintained in good repair and calibration. Equipment includes personal computers, scopes, counters, wave analyzers, signal synthesizers, digital multimeters, power supplies, in-circuit emulators, a logic analyzer, and microcomputer development systems. In addition, a large inventory of components, active and passive, is kept on hand for breadboarding and prototyping.
In 1990, the company implemented a Quality Assurance system compliant with MIL-I-45208A. While the system has been applied 100% to only a few MIL assembly jobs, all operations have benefited from the enhanced awareness of quality assurance methods and issues.
Computer-aided design includes Autocad LT, DraftSight, Orcad and Schema schematic capture, ECA and SpiceAge circuit analysis, and PentaLogix Gerber editor.
